A teenager. YIKES!

Alyx turned 13 on July 12th. Can you believe it we have a TEENAGER, Yikes!
We had a trip planned to Las Vegas in June so we decided we would keep it a secret and surprise her. We were able to keep it from here until we got to the airport when she finally figured out where we were going. When we got to Las Vegas we took her on all the Las Vegas roller coaster except for the ones at the Strat. I think she had fun and if you ask her she’ll tell you the New York New York coaster was the best.

On her birthday we have a tradition of going to Dave and Buster’s, since she came over in the afternoon and Chad had to work, we got going pretty late but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. As always we closed D&B’s down and are looking forward to next year. Please pray for our sanity and let me know if you have any advice when it comes to raising a 13 year old.
